Ritchey Comp Zeta GX Disc Boost 700c Wheelset

While the Zeta GX Boost Wheels might be a newer product for Ritchey, one could argue their development has been in progress for more than 50 years. Tom Ritchey, often together with his mentor, Jobst Brandt, and other friends, has been blazing trails and riding rough stuff since the early 1970s. Riding dirt is almost literally in Tom's blood.

Directly inspired by the reliability, versatility, and top performance of the original Ritchey Zeta wheels, the new Comp Zeta GX Boost wheelset is designed to especially shine on gravel. These hand-built wheels are tubeless-ready and feature forged disc hubs with sealed bearings and six-bolt rotor mounts, a 4-pawl engagement system integrated with the freehub body, and of course, boost spacing. The rims offer a wide 25mm inner diameter, so they'll nicely fit wider tires for gravel, and they're laced with 28 sturdy spokes.

Tom Ritchey doesn't carry a mobile phone when he rides. Nor does he bother with the hassle of following GPS coordinates on a cycling computer.
