Details

Horizon brings supple plus-size traction and smooth riding characteristics beyond where the pavement ends. This high-volume 650b tire pairs an all-weather herringbone pattern with parallel grooves to improve cornering traction on crumbling tarmac and increase comfort on hardpack. The Horizon provides deceivingly svelte performance on pavement, with resilience that isn’t shaken by chasing confidants down dusty roads. The Horizon creates a new riding experience, regardless of where your exploits lead you.

TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is our industry-leading tubeless rim/tire system designed to international ETRTO and ISO standards.

Light Casing

One layer of supple, gram-conscious casing conforms to the terrain to provide maximum performance, exceptional reliability, and low rotational weight.

Fast Rolling Compound

Specifically formulated to prioritize rolling efficiency while also providing dependable traction and lasting durability.

SG2

Available with SG2, which defends all surfaces of a tire by providing an uninterrupted layer of nylon puncture protection spanning from one bead to the other.

Features

Slick Centerline Efficiency

Provides maximium efficiency while also smoothing out the ride on a variety of surfaces ranging from smooth tarmac to broken pavement. Tread is less important on the centerline of the tire where the weight of the rider is pushing in a downward direction rather than the cornering forces that occur at the outer edges of a tire.

Circumferentail Grooves

Grooves running parallel to the tire enhance cornering performance by allowing the tread to flex and better conform to the trail. They also channel water away from contact surfaces of the tire.

Herringbone Outer Tread

Grapples with wet roads to deliver all-weather traction while also improving confidence on the occasional gravel road. Enough to get you through it, but not enough to slow you down.

TCS Tubeless-Ready

TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is WTB's standardized tubeless system. These tires feature a TCS tubeless-ready casing, which nearly eliminates flats and allows lower tire pressures to improve traction and comfort over a traditional tube-type tire.
