If you're a gravity addict, the Troy Lee Designs Rogue Knee/Shin Guards will defend your knees and shins as you hurl yourself downhill. Like a standard cycling helmet, it's composed of a hard-shell plastic outer layer that disperses impact over a large area, while allowing heat and moisture to disperse through spaced vent holes, and a soft EVA foam inner layer, which absorbs and lessens that impact. The two layers, working together as part of a highly flexible, comfortable and breathable pad, will reinforce your leg while allowing it to move freely, so that you'll barely notice you're wearing a guard. You can also cinch it round your leg snugly using two adjustable straps.
