Sidi Shot 2 Dzero Road Shoes

The brand's values and flair for fusing old and new are epitomised in the Sidi Shot 2 DZero. Decorated with five phrases commonly used by Dino Signori, it celebrates Sidi's history and family feel while pairing the tried and tested features of the Shot 2 with new eco-friendly materials.

The green credentials of this shoe include an upper made from recycled microfibre and finished with cereal-derived Bio Based resins, an insole made from 95% recycled PU, resulting in less CO2 release during production, and packaging made with recycled paper and corn starch glue. There are also small areas of mesh at the toe and around the heel, made from microfibre bio veg and designed to work in tandem with the perforations in the upper, to release heat as you ride.

Its features, in contrast, are tried and tested Castelli staples. The upper is cinched in using the same system as found in the flagship Shot 2, a pair of replaceable Tecno-3 Push Flex dials located on the tongue that ensure an even fit across the whole foot. The little red button will raise the lever when pressed, making the fit easy to adjust mid-ride.

Your heel, meanwhile, is held in place by the reflective integrated heel and adjustable heel retention device, also found in the Shot 2. The former is a light, anatomically shaped cup that supports the heel and keeps it in place as you pedal, while the latter is a replaceable, adjustable mechanism that can be tightened to cradle it more closely.

Finally, this special shoe incorporates Sidi's finest C-Boost SRS Sole, offering outstanding power transfer and support, with potential to adjust the cleat by +/- 5mm and Sole Replacement System inserts that protect the carbon sole from shocks to increase its durability.
