SIDI is an Italian company founded in 1960 by Dino Signori. It specialises in protective wear for motorcycling and cycling and is one of the most well known brands of cycling shoes, used by many famous professional cyclists to win countless races.

The Sidi Ergo 5 Road Shoe, in this classy matte finish, is a premium road shoe featuring top-end technology like the Techno-3 Push dials and a carbon fibre sole unit with replaceable heel pad.

Microfibra TechPro Matt fabric is a microfiber PU, made in Italy. It is a highly technical, innovative and eco-friendly leather, suitable for use in high-performance sports products. TechPro microfibre is light, water repellent and strong. It is Oeko-Tex® certified, does not contain harmful substances and respects manufacturing restrictions.

The shoe also features a Soft Instep Closure System, which is a wide, anatomically shaped strap combined with a soft, thermo-formed EVA pad that distributes pressure evenly over the instep. The system is adjustable from both sides, allowing you to perfectly centre the EVA pad over a high or low instep. It's replaceable and eliminates the need for the High Instep Extender.

The Techno-3 Push Dials fit along the length of the shoe, adapting the upper to the shape of the foot for a customized fit. Sidi's famously reliable and replaceable closures are improved by an all-new proprietary Sidi Wire material that is completely non-binding, thereby allowing intuitive and effortless on-the-fly adjustments. Like most Sidi small parts, the Techno-3 Push Dial is serviceable and replaceable. It can also be adjusted while riding, thanks to an innovative button which can be pushed to lift it.

The Sidi Ergo 5 has High Security Velcro® straps, with integrated locking polymer teeth that engage when they're closed. This feature makes the shoe more secure by ensuring that the strap becomes unmoveable.

Meanwhile, the reinforced heel keeps the foot in an optimal position and avoids deformation of the shoe by extreme performance or prolonged pressure.

Sidi's 12 Carbon Composite Sole is made with two different materials blended together, nylon and carbon fibre. The carbon is injected into a matrix of nylon, which doesn't absorb water and doesn't lose rigidity in hot or humid weather or as it ages. The result is a significantly lighter and stiffer sole.
