The Albert was the first tyre Schwalbe introduced with the new radial carcass. An MTB tyre completely rethought. The carcass conforms to the ground like no other before, increasing the contact area and better supporting the knobs. Tread and carcass always work together as a powerful unit. This brings more grip, more damping, and more safety.

More or Even More Grip With New Compounds

Schwalbe offer the Albert in different rubber compounds so you can choose the best version for your needs. Soft is the more versatile compound with good rolling properties and balanced damping. Ultra Soft is the softer mix for maximum grip and even more damping for the toughest challenges. You can also combine: Albert Soft on the rear wheel and Ultra Soft on the front wheel. Both compounds are suitable for winter use.

Addix Ultra Soft

For hardcore use in enduro and downhill. Sensationally good damping has been further improved over the previous VertStar compound, while at the same time Addix Ultrasoft is suitable for all-weather use due to significantly improved low-temperature properties when it comes to grip and damping.
