About RockShox
Rockshox have been developing and innovating mountain bike suspension systems since the early 90's and have boasted dozens of models through the decades. They also produce the only hydraulic dropper seatpost currently available - the lauded Reverb. Now owned by SRAM, their quality components speak for themselves.
Details
The world’s best gravity racers need it. The roughest tracks demand it. Vivid Coil Ultimate is unmatched in downhill performance and tunability. Easily dial in the perfect ride feel with the TouchDown RC2T positionsensitive damper. External, independent High and Low Speed Compression adjustments provide unreal sensitivity off-the-top, support and control in the mid-stroke, and Adjustable Hydraulic Bottom Out to cushion the harshest landings. It’s the unmistakable feel of coil, evolved with premium technology to give you world-class suspension performance.
Technology
Metric Sizing
Metric sizing allows both suspension and frame manufacturers to simplify rear shock sizing and fitment in addition to increasing bushing overlap, which results in better traction and improved durability.
Maxima Plush Fluid
Developed with the world's fastest racers, on the world's toughest circuits. Maxima Plush Fluid is designed to protect from suspension wear, reduce friction, and silence damper noise while maintaining a consistent feel in all temperatures.
Hydraulic Bottom Out
Hydraulic Bottom Out is the extra assurance that can make the difference between hitting big air or bailing last minute. Knowing you’re not setting yourself up for a harsh bottom out give you one less thing to worry about. So go ahead and commit—you’re in for a soft landing.
