Like a standard cycling helmet, it's composed of a hard-shell plastic outer layer that disperses impact over a large area, while allowing heat and moisture to escape through spaced vent holes, and a soft EVA foam inner layer, which absorbs and lessens that impact. The two layers, working together as part of a highly flexible, comfortable and breathable pad, will reinforce your young ripper's elbow joint while allowing them to move freely, so that they'll barely notice they're wearing a guard. A stretchy sleeve of material extends from one side of the pad to the other, acting as a cradle for the inner arm and helping to hold the pad in place. The pad can also be cinched snugly round the arm using two adjustable straps.
