A lightweight and strong fibreglass construction along with integrated SPIN (Shearing Pads INside) technology allows direct impacts and obscure rotational forces to be dealt with accordingly - If your head hits the ground at an angle and the helmet rotates or jerks, the pads are allowed to disconnect from the lining as not to damage the vertebrae or brain as a result of sudden change in force.
