The P Zero™ Race is crafted to pack all the benefits of tube type technology into a race-ready all-rounder which outperforms all cycling clinchers that Pirelli has created before, tubulars included.

After three years of development working with the fastest racers at the World Tour level, including the male and female 2019 UCI World Champions, Pirelli designed this new tube type tyre with the new SmartEVO compound and the TechBELT casing technology to provide their Professional riders, as well as all cycling enthusiasts, with a superior product!

SmartEVO Compound

Still our best chemical formulation for all-round road use, whether it means racing or high intensity and long distance leisure riding. It is born from the large Motorsport experience of Pirelli and the collaboration with the factory World Tour teams and it features a single-compound formulation based on three different polymers, each of which provides opposite performances in a perfect blend of grip, speed and reliability. The advanced mixture of polymers with 'smart' behaviors are the key elements of the SmartEVO compound, providing grip in any weather condition and very low rolling resistance in a package made to sustain also high mileage and rougher road surfaces. It is an high-performance chemical formulation developed for modern road cycling, from everyday riding to racing, even at World Tour level.

TechBelt Road

The TechBELT ROAD is a road-specific 120 TPI casing that features an added layer of nylon fabric under the tread making it a solid choice for any kind of road use, including racing, training and commuting. The TechBELT ROAD is an exclusive feature of the P ZERO™ range.
