Marin Gestalt XR 2023 Bike

The Gestalt X is our hard-charging, rough-and-rowdy take on what gravel and adventure bikes can do. Break off the fire road, down the singletrack and charge further and faster than ever before. All while keeping the versatility, challenge and fun of a bike with drop handlebars.

Features

The Gestalt X is built with a longer-than-the-usual wheelbase, slack-like-your-mountain-bike head angle, low-slung frame, wide bars, short stem, big and chunky tires with room for up to 50mm on 700c or 54mm with a 650b wheelset.

The Gestalt XR takes gravel to the next level. XR brings our MTB-inspired, Series 3 aluminum Gestalt X frame and adds a gravel-specific Shimano GRX 11-speed drivetrain, GRX hydraulic disc brakes, a TranzX dropper post, cushy and grippy 44mm wide Vee Tire Rubber and heaps of our own bespoke Marin components

Technology

Series 3 Frame

The Gestalt X features a butted and formed Series 3 6061 aluminum frame with internal routing, 142x12mm thru-axles, flat mount disc brakes, and rack and fender eyelets.

Beyond Road Geometry

The Gestalt X takes our Beyond Road Geometry to the next level of aggressive road and dirt exploration with a blend of endurance road handling and mountain bike sensibilities.

Disc Brakes

The Gestalt X features the latest flat mount disc brake standard for smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance.

Tyre Clearance

The Gestalt X frame and fork has clearance for up to up to 700Cx45 or 650Bx47 Road Plus tires.

Braze-In Cable Routing

New braze-in cable/hose routing for is seek, clean, and rattle-free.
