Lapierre produce a wide range of mountain, road, lifestyle and electric bikes which cover all price points to suit riders of all disciplines and abilities. They have a formiddable Tour De France road team and championship-winning gravity racers to back their flagship bikes, and the company has acquired Design & Innovation awards for their recent developments.
Developed for speed
With pure lines and a distinguished design, the new Aircode DRS, third evolution of the aero model in the range, marks a new page in the history of Lapierre road bikes. Designed for high speed, engineered to defy the laws of physics, the Aircode DRS is more rigid, faster, more aerodynamic and more comfortable than the earlier model. At the handlebars, Arnaud Démare became the most prolific rider in the peleton in 2020. It's not an accident.
Features
Drag Reduction System
The Aircode DRS (Drag Reduction System) is more streamlined, more distinctive, more rigid, more aerodynamic and also more comfortable than the previous Aircode SL. The combination of Lapierre's carbon expertise, from the choice of fibres to the type of construction, and the experience of the Groupama FDJ team, has resulted in a bike that plays with the laws of physics.
Versatile and high-performing wheels
Our expertise in carbon has led to the development of the brand new LP Road Disc Carbon 38 wheels. Combined with the UD SL carbon frame of the Aircode DRS 6.0, the wheels, which weigh 1,518 grams, maximise transfer of the rider's power and also provide versatility for all trials thanks to their all-purpose profile.
Reactivity, comfort and energy
In developing the Aircode DRS 6.0, we wanted to improve the cyclist's position for greater efficiency and comfort. At high speed, the Aircode DRS 6.0 demonstrates incredible stability and explosive reactivity of the rear triangle thanks to the 3D Tubular design. The short 405 mm bases allow a succession of bends and curves and incisive pick-ups.
