With a much closer fit than any of our off-road lasts, this cradles the foot securely to prevent any unwanted movement. This last features a precisely fitted toe-box, high arch & mid width ball girth.

Outsole
Road Sport Fiberglass injected nylon outsole, only compatible with 3-bolt style road cleat and pedal systems.
The CX145 is built on Lake’ s amazing Fiberglass injected Nylon sole. Lake’ s Nylon sole is world famous for its uncompromising comfort and performance. No other injection nylon sole offers the same level of stiffness or comfort.
Upper
The upper features softshell fabric, water resistant microfiber, Thinsulate 200gr insulation and a waterproof membrane making this a highly water resistant cycling shoe great in various conditions. Clarino microfiber offers great durability and the suppleness found in leather at a significant weight reduction.
Closure
Mid Power M4 Cartridge Tongue mounted BOA dial excels in ice, dirt & other challenging environments & is designed to be easily adjusted with gloves on. The mid-capacity dial combines durability & closure strength to withstand intense force & impact, without sacrificing fit & when combined with Click-Fit quick release, the system makes for an easier entry & exit.
Tip for keeping your shoes Water resistant:
The uppers are treated from the factory with a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) coating that will ware away over time and use. Like many other water-resistant products, to help keep the shoe uppers from absorbing water that could migrate into the shoe, it is recommended to reapply the upper with a DWR spray which are readily available at most stores that sell outdoor products. We recommend reapplying the coating 1-2 times a year for moderate riders and for heavy use or daily commuter riders reapply at least after every 2-3 extreme wet rides. For best result follow the instructions from the DWR manufacture on how to reapply the coatings.
