The world's favourite front mounted child bike seats. After first launching our shotgun child seat in 2017, we're now on a mission to raise the next generation of mountain bikers, and provide parents with all the tools they need to get kids off screens and into nature.
Details
The Kids Ride Shotgun Dirt Hero is an off-road balance bike built like a scaled-down enduro bike, for young mountain bikers who are ready to leave the driveway for the dirt. This 14-inch build is sized for riders aged 3 to 5, with slack, low and stable trail geometry, a Magura hydraulic rear disc brake and grippy 2.2" Kenda Booster tyres.
Designed For Dirt
Most kids' bikes stop at the footpath. The Dirt Hero's slack, low and stable geometry gives young riders the confidence to hold a line on real trails, so they can ride where you ride.
Braking Powered By Magura
A Magura hydraulic disc brake gives more stopping power for less hand strength than a V-brake, and the lever's reach adjustment brings it within easy range of small hands. A child-safe guard covers the rotor.
Grippy, Shock-Absorbing Tyres
Pneumatic Kenda Booster tyres, 2.2" wide, grip on loose ground and cushion the bumps for a smoother ride.
Grows With Your Child
The frame and fork take both 12" and 14" wheels on flip-chip dropouts, which is how the Dirt Hero grows with its rider: start on 12" wheels and step up to 14" without buying a new bike. This one is built with 14" wheels.
