ISM (Ideal Saddle Modification) was founded in 1997. Following another painful bike ride, owner Steve sketched out a design for a seat to reduce discomfort from a traditional seat. ISM seats have Ironman wins, Olympic medals, and many podiums.

The Performance Long Saddle is the successor to ISM's popular Prologue. It has slightly thicker padding than the PL 1.0, but offers the same benefits to those who tend to roll their hips back when climbing hills by allowing a good amount of fore/aft movement along the saddle. Suitable for mountain and road cycling.

Like all ISM saddles, the PL 1.1 is nose-less and designed to remove pressure from soft tissue, ensuring maximum blood flow, no genital numbness, and a healthier, more enjoyable ride.
