ISM (Ideal Saddle Modification) was founded in 1997. Following another painful bike ride, owner Steve sketched out a design for a seat to reduce discomfort from a traditional seat. ISM seats have Ironman wins, Olympic medals, and many podiums.

ISM's Performance Long Saddle is inspired by their Breakaway model, and it allows a good amount of fore/aft movement when seated and aids those who tend to roll their hips slightly back and go more prone when climbing hills. Suitable for road and mountain cycling.

Like all ISM saddles, the PL 1.0 is nose-less and designed to remove pressure from soft tissue, ensuring maximum blood flow, no genital numbness, and a healthier, more enjoyable ride.
