The Hope R22 Bosch Gen 4 55mm Wide E-Bike Spiderless Retainer Chainring mounts directly to a Bosch Gen 4 motor and sets a wider 55mm chainline, replacing the full spider assembly for a lighter, cleaner set-up. The extra power an e-bike motor puts through the drivetrain is the ultimate test of a chainring, so Hope designed their direct mount e-bike rings specifically to withstand it, machining each one in a single piece from billet 7075-T6 aluminium and hard anodising it for a long service life.
R22 Tooth Profile
An asymmetric narrow/wide tooth profile works with all the major drivetrains from 9 to 12-speed, SRAM T-Type and Shimano HG+ included. It holds the chain without a chain device, sheds mud, copes with the extreme chain angles of a modern 1x drivetrain and tolerates more chain wear before shifting suffers.

Note: Not compatible with Bosch Gen 5 motors. Fitting needs a Park Tool BBT-18 or equivalent for the lockring, and Hope recommend fitting a new Bosch O-ring (1270016119) when replacing the chainring.
