Featuring an all-new lightweight aluminium frame that blends modern hardtail design with Giant's latest E-Bike technologies, the new Talon E+ EX is a versatile machine that’s ideal for everyday commuting or weekend off-road adventures. A 100mm suspension fork soaks up bumpy terrain, giving you confidence and control on bumpy roads and paths. The new SyncDrive Sport 2 motor helps you conquer climbs, and the removable EnergyPak 430 battery is integrated into a newly designed, slimmer down tube. Updated controls include a handlebar-mounted RideControl Dash 2 to power on the bike and adjust support levels. And the bike comes with a rear carrier, fenders, a kickstand, and integrated lights for daily commuting or multi-day trekking adventures.

Lighter Weight

The new Talon E+ EX frame is crafted with ALUXX SL aluminium using hydroforming and gravity casting techniques that helps make it 13% lighter than the previous generation. The new EnergyPak 430 battery and SyncDrive Sport 2 motor are also lighter, giving it an overall weight of just 21.7kg (Size medium, without rack). The result is greater agility and confident off-road handling that feels more like a regular hardtail mountain bike.

Sleek and Slim

The redesigned frameset features a slimmer down tube integrated with a new EnergyPak 430 battery system that's lightweight and easily removable for external charging. 3D forging techniques and super-smooth welds give it a clean, modern look, and two bottle cage mounts allow you to carry more hydration or add a battery range extender for longer rides.

Super Commuter

The Talon E+ EX is loaded with features and accessories that make it ideal for trekking or commuting. The RideControl Dash 2 controller is used to power on the bike and adjust support levels while you ride. Using the RideControl App, you can custom tune the motor output to optimise range. Also new is a Find My Bike feature using integrated Apple AirTag functionality. And it comes with a rear carrier, fenders, a kickstand, and integrated lights.

EnergyPak

Giant's latest EnergyPak battery systems feature streamlined designs that are integrated with the E-Bike for a sleek and modern profile. Giant E-Bikes offer several different EnergyPak options including the EnergyPak Smart and EnergyPak. Each one is designed to optimise the E-Bike experience for a specific style of riding.

Sync Drive Sport 2

The compact SyncDrive Sport 2 motor delivers 75Nm of torque tuned for trail riding. It features Smart Assist mode, which uses six sensors to measure your pedaling input, cadence and speed, along with the slope you're riding on. Based on these calculations, it produces power that feels naturally supportive and in sync with the way you ride. The motor's compact shape also allows for a narrow Q-Factor for optimised pedaling efficiency, comfort and biomechanics.

Aluxx SL Aluminium Technology

This High-Performance level, state-of-the-art aluminium material is made predominantly from 6011 alloy and delivers best-in-class strength-to-weight ratios. These framesets also feature unique welding technologies for high-performance ride quality.

Giant E Lock System

Allows you to lock and unlock your E-Bike using the RideControl App or by entering a PIN code on the controller. Once locked, pedaling assistance is blocked and the display shows the E-Bike in lock status. If someone attempts to move the bike, the alarm is triggered.

Find My Bike

Enhanced security and anti-theft feature using Apple Find My function lets you set up separation alerts, locate your E-Bike remotely, and receive notifications if its location changes. Apple Find My privacy protections ensure that your location information is encrypted on Apple servers and retained for only 24 hours.
