FSA is proud to launch the brand new KFX range, bringing a new selection of lightweight and stiff components for mountain bikes. the pinnacle of the new range is the KFX 1x crankset.

The KFX modular 1x superlight aluminium MTB crankset is created through an innovative manufacturing process that dramatically reduces weight while increasing stiffness. The hollow construction begins with forging, then precision CNC machining, and finally culminating with an advanced bonding technology. The blend of strength and stiffness gives a performance and light weight that is an ideal option for riders seeking a professional level, top of the line, crankset.

Revolutionary Manufacturing Process

Each KFX crank arm starts out as two separate forged blanks. Then precision CNC machined into two pieces, the hollowed-out halves feature a series of three main ridges & grooves down the outside of each arm that form a tightly interlocking single piece.

Hollow Moulded Carbon Technology

K-Force and SL-K cranksets are moulded using a unique air bladder technology to create crankarms containing two long, hollow chambers separated by a structural “I-beam.” FSA’s hollow cranksets are true monocoque structures delivering great strength and featherlight weight.

MegaTooth

FSA way to indicate the Anti-drop chainrings, it’s the main feature for all the 1x FSA chainrings. Very long, asymmetric teeth in a thick-thin alternation create a tremendously quiet and secure engagement.

FSA's innovative Megatooth chainring has been developed to respond to the increasing demand 1/11 cranksets, designed to meet the needs of top level riders. The design allows the chainring to retain the chainring completely by itself.

Modular

Thanks to this interchangeable system, any rider or mechanic can easily, quickly, and safely swap out the spider, spindles, and chainrings from one set to another.
