Collaborating with top professionals like Rémy Métailler and Vali Höll, the GD1 has evolved to offer even more comfort and control in demanding terrain. The GD1 Evo features increased damping, better control, and enhanced comfort for more riding fun. Its conical shape, super soft thumb zone, and new inner stop design reduce the need for excessive gripping power. The Factory version features a unique rubber compound made exclusively in Germany for an even more precise grip feel. The GD1 Evo is twist-proof on carbon handlebars and available in two diameters.

Features
Conical Grip Design
The GD1 Evo Factory features a conical, tapered shape where the grip diameter gradually increases towards the end. This design enhances damping properties while maintaining a slim, responsive inboard diameter. The result is a combination of excellent comfort and total control on demanding trails.
Minimum Effort – Maximum Grip
The anti-slip tread pattern, along with the new super soft thumb zone, provides maximum grip. The slim redesigned inner stop improves hand positioning and ensures full access to shift levers. This design allows for maximum control with less gripping force.
Available in Two Sizes
The GD1 Evo Factory is available in two diameters: Regular and Slim. The Regular size is recommended for glove sizes Large / X-Large (8.5 – 10.5) or riders who seek increased cushioning. The Slim version is suitable for glove sizes Small / Medium (6.5 – 8.5) or those who prefer a smaller grip range.

Exclusive Quality
The GD1 Evo Factory's grip rubber is developed and manufactured exclusively in Germany, meeting the highest purity standards and TÜV certification. The silicone-based, UV-resistant rubber compound ensures durability and high performance.
Factory Custom Rubber
Ergon’s exclusive "Factory Custom Rubber" compound maintains its high grip properties and precise structure longer than other compounds, offering increased durability and longevity, especially in demanding mountain biking conditions.
Inner Clamp
The internal aluminum clamp supports a wide gripping position and prevents twisting, even on carbon handlebars.
Replaceable End Plugs
The GD1’s end plugs are replaceable, adding to the grips' longevity and toughness.
