A Trail Motion bike is a special bike in any Cube line-up, and the Stereo ONE22 C:62 TM is no exception. With our Advanced Twin Mold C:62 carbon frame technology and the pick of trail-worthy components, it's your guarantee of a good time off-road.
A great trail bike is only as good as its suspension components. We know that, which is why for the Stereo ONE22 C:62 TM we began with a 130mm Fox 34 Float Rhythm fork at the front, and paired it with a Fox Float Performance at the rear. Smooth, progressive and easily adjustable, they're the perfect trail companions. Grippy Maxxis Forekaster 2.4in tyres rolling on Newmen Beskar 30 wheels are held in check by Shimano's powerful XT hydraulic disc brakes. And Shimano's peerless XT 1x12 gears get your power to the trail with flawless ratio changes, shift after shift after shift. Ready to ride?
When you have something great already, the trick is to refine it - and that's exactly what we've done here. The Stereo ONE22 C:62 frame takes our renowned mid-travel suspension concept and reimagines it with our Advanced Twin Mold C:62 carbon construction. There's an angle-adjustable headset, so you can tweak the Agile Trail Geometry to suit your riding style. A pair of ISCG tabs makes it easy to fit a chain device, while Internal Cable Routing complements the frame's organic appearance. And, with the UDH interface, you can look forward to long-lasting, ultra-reliable gear shifting. It's got it all covered.
Features
Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62 carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.
When you're harnessing gravity, the trail is challenging and every second counts, the geometry of your Cube is a critical component. That's why our adjustable headset allows you to tweak head angle, so you can set your bike up just the way you like it. A little slacker for more stability, or a little steeper for better agility. The choice is yours...
A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.
Agile Trail Geometry is a development of our popular and well received Agile Ride Geometry, with a focus on riders who enjoy pushing their limits on the trails. By lowering standover height and allowing more room for the rider to move around over the bike, we've created a setup that rewards adventurous line choices. Because, after all, it's all about having fun.
Our Efficient Trail Control series works in the background so that everyone can have more fun on the trail. A low leverage ratio and linear compression rate are the technical way of saying that these bikes are very sensitive to trail obstacles, whilst remaining insensitive to pedal-induced bob and giving a full range of travel.
One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.
With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62, C:68 and C:68X carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
