Fast and light can be tough and versatile too, and here's the proof: the Nulane C:62 SLX FE. With its full equipment package including mudguards, luggage carrier, lighting set and kickstand, it's ready to go for weekend touring or weekday commuting... or both. The C:62 frame and full carbon fork are light, comfortable and responsive. And the reliable Shimano Cues 1 x 11 gears, grippy Schwalbe tyres and powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes are all you need to tackle any route, whether it's on gravel or on tarmac.

Based on our experience building fast, comfortable road and gravel bikes, the Nulane C:62's frame takes our high-quality C:62 carbon and transforms it into a light, lively and versatile chassis. But this is no featherweight carbon prima donna. We included ample clearance for 4mm tyres, even with the included muguards. And, with an included lighting set, sturdy luggage carrier and kickstand, it's ready for touring, commuting or anything in between. Even the full carbon fork features lowrider rack mounts, for additional carrying capacity.

Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62 carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.

Cables connect your handlebar controls to vital components like gears and brakes, but there's no need for them to get in your way. With Internal Cable Routing we've reduced clutter and maintenance by running cables through the frame, keeping them out of the way of dust and water contamination - or damage from abrasion - as well as cleaning up your bike's appearance.

Combining everything we know about building great-riding off-road bikes, Gravel Comfort Geometry is the secret ingredient that makes our gravel series such a blast to ride. Nimble enough to mix it up in the rough, stable enough for reassuring descents and with comfort for the long haul, we've got it all covered.

With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62, C:68 and C:68X carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
