Featuring a carbon-injected nylon shank, it offers pedaling efficiency without compromising the shoe-to-pedal interface. Our innovative Match System optimizes engagement for any MTB clip-in system, whether that’s Crankbrothers or SPD. It comes with a Match shim and Crankbrothers cleat pre-installed in a neutral position—ready to ride out of the box.

Match Box
The ramped Match cleat box offers easy front and rear pedal entry and sheds mud effectively. An extra-stiff carbon-injected nylon shank delivers powerful energy transfer during climbs and sprints.
Match Compound
Crankbrothers MC1 mid-friction rubber compound strikes the perfect balance—tough enough for durability while allowing smooth pedal entry and release. The radial lug design around the cleat box enhances disengagement from the pedal body.
Match Outsole
Designed for traction off the bike, the tread features directionally-angled toe and heel lugs for steep terrain grip. The ramped toe adds walkability, while a stable platform ensures sure-footed confidence.
