In 1990, Max Brauns was driven by a passion for hand-crafted performance tyres and moved to Thailand, where the World's best natural rubber (rather than artificially-produced petroleum-based rubber) could be sourced. In 2000, Challengetech was born.
Challenge Strada Vulcanized 700c Clincher Tyre

The Strada is Challenge's go-to tire for long days on the road. This all-conditions design combines a round profile that takes the sting out of rough pavement with a construction that provides maximum control and low rolling resistance.

With our vulcanized construction, we start where other tires stop - we utilize ultralight 60TPI nylon casings and superior tread compounds - to give our traditional vulcanized tires excellent ride feel and quality that is more affordable than our handmade offerings.

Challenge clincher tires are designed for use with tubes and hooked rims.
