The Fortus 35W replaces the Tech 35W as Hope's widest rim, designed for high volume tyres from 2.5" - 3.0".

Increasing the distance between the tyre sidewalls flattens out the tread slightly for increased surface contact, providing more reliable traction in mixed conditions. The wider stance also minimises deformation of the tyre under extreme forces, reducing the risk of mishaps such as burping sealant and damaging sidewalls due to tyre roll.

A shallow 18.5mm profile (previously 19mm on the Tech 35W) combined with 2.5mm thick flanges and a welded seam makes this an incredibly strong and stiff Aluminium rim.
