Cane Creek DBair CS XV Air Can Rear Shock
Cane Creek are American manufacturers of ground-breaking bicycle headset, braking and suspension systems. Based in North Carolina, they undertake all of their design, assembly and testing in-house and in the surrounding wilderness. This gives the company full control of their development and they wouldn't have it any other way.
Climbing has evolved. The DBair CS takes the DBair the world has come to love and adds a selectable climbing mode to specifically address the demands of ascending on the bike. However CS is not your conventional pedal-platform as it adjusts both Low Speed Compression (LSC) and Low Speed Rebound (LSR). By selectively tuning both compression and extension phases when climbing, the shock maintains better traction and control while enhancing pedalling efficiency through the shock's entire travel.
- Damping: Twin-tube independent compression and rebound
- 4-way independent adjustment;
- Air spring rate
- High speed compression
- Low speed compression
- High speed rebound
- Low speed rebound
Finish: Anodized and laser-etched
Mounting Interface: Norglide® bushing 1/2" Universal Axle
The XV can offer a higher air volume and is perfectly suited to bikes with a significantly progressive leverage ratio, such as Intense and Santa Cruz. These bikes require a more linear air spring. The less progressive air spring allows the rider to ride with more High Speed Compression while still achieving full travel.
Note - Pricing is for damper only. Hardware supplied separately.
