The Shimano XTR BR-M9110 flat-mount caliper features a clean and compact design that delivers performance and reliable stopping power in all conditions. The 2-piston caliper is compatible with 140 and 160 mm disc brake rotor sizes.
Technology
One Way Bleeding
“One Way Bleeding” was developed for quick and easy prevention of air in our hydraulic system. We have streamlined the oil route throughout the system to prevent air bubbles from being captured in the system.
One way oil routing plus a funnel tool with mineral oil provides an easy and clean bleeding system.

- Ceramic pistons optimized for heat insulation, lightweight and stiffness
- Opposed 2-piston design reduces leading effect and optimal pad wear increases braking control
- Super lightweight magnesium caliper design with Titanium hardware
- Recommended for use with Ice Tech Center Lock rotors for optimum braking performance in a choice of 140mm and 160mm
- Can be used with Ice Tech pads available in resin or sintered compound, the optional aluminium radiation fin pad further improves heat dissipation reducing brake surface temperature by 50 deg C
- Easy to use one way oil bleeding for improved oil routing
