The captivatingly patterned Castelli PR Speed Suit builds on the Kona bike course record-holding PR Speed Suit to create the brand's fastest ever long-course race suit. Changes to the short portion mean it is now even more comfortable too!
Practically seamless, without the need for added silicone grippers to hold the stretchy legs in place during competition, the shorts have been carefully refined through extensive CFD and wind tunnel testing to deliver improved marginal gains, especially in cross wind conditions.
Otherwise, the suit still retains all the great features that have helped it to achieve so many long-distance and 70. victories. The 50-dernier upper body fabric is still incredibly light, smooth and aerodynamic, while the elbow-length sleeves and knee-length legs help to reduce drag, as do the turbulence-inducing, attractive silicone speed ribs on the sleeves.
Like the Sanremo suit, the PR Speed Suit features a handy opening at the front between the upper and lower portions, which increases your comfort in ride position, without restricting you in the swim and run legs, and allows you to vent the suit with ease.
Other details that make it so perfect for triathlon include the use of material that allows moisture to evaporate right next to the skin, for optimal cooling, the inclusion of two side-opening mesh pockets to store the nutrition so vital for continued performance, and its specialist, quick-drying KISS Tri seat pad, which is not only comfortable but slender, so it won't get in the way of the swim or run.
