The wide strap fastening simplifies the process at T1: the shoe opens easily, closes in a single movement and remains adjustable once you’re off. The triathlon-specific heel loop provides a firm grip for quick slipping on, even with wet hands. Dries Quickly After Swimming

The upper is the part of the shoe that wraps around the foot.
