Assos Dyora R Spring Fall S11 Womens Bib Shorts

An all-new bib short platform for racing and high-intensity training in the cold, wet, and challenging conditions of the transitional seasons. The Dyora R features Assos' warmest Spring Fall textile yet, and its tight weave shields you from wind and road spray or light precipitation.

These new Spring Fall Racing Series bib shorts are constructed with the same insulating textile used on Assos' new Winter Warmers, an upgrade in warmth compared to the previous Racing Series model. Though warmer on the legs and hips, the Dyora R omits the double-layer construction used on the crotch of its predecessor, which creates uniform thermoregulation throughout rather than lighter insulation on the legs and an over-insulated core. The new textile is also treated with an eco-friendly water-repellent finish, so road spray and light precipitation bead up and roll off instead of soaking through. These bib shorts debut the new Dyora R S11 insert, which features updated shaping to better support the body in aggressive riding positions and Assos' proprietary free-floating goldenGate 2.0 construction.

Featured Fabrics

The RX Extreme textile is Assos' most robust insulator from the RX family. It's a brushed, insulating warp-knit fabric with high breathability and a water-repellent treatment - suited for racing in light rain and wind with cool temperatures.

Construction/Fit

Assos' AEDP 11 racingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed to envelope the body in 360-degree compression and stability. The raw-cut waist construction eliminates pressure while in aggressive riding positions.

Engineering

PILtec Plug-In: A lightweight, ultrabreathable textile band across the leg opening. The microdot silicone treatment is invisible from the outside but stabilizes fit and maintains grip while wet.

Acqua Shield Tec: An eco-friendly, water-repellent treatment that causes water to bead up and roll off the textile surface, maintaining a dry microclimate underneath.

X-Frame: An A-frame suspension that limits sag on the lower back, stabilizing the insert and main body panel during high-intensity riding. Anchored across the shoulders by Assos' lightest bib straps.

Reflective Detail: A strip of reflectivity on the lower back angles to catch light and increase visibility in low-light conditions.

Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9: Compressive foam materials in a single-layer 9mm racing platform that minimizes volume and weight. Thermoformed shaping eliminates ridges and irritation.

3D Waffle: A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.

GoldenGate 2.0: A free-floating construction that moves with your body rather than against it. New cut-outs on the wings reduce friction throughout the pedal stroke.
