Assos Equipe R Winter S11 EVO Jacket

A premium winter cycling jacket for high-intensity riding in cold, wet conditions, engineered with a second-skin, aerodynamic fit and evolved with a simplified construction and increased protection across the stomach and sleeves.

Engineered with WorldTour feedback and countless hours of real-world testing, the R Winter Jacket S11 EVO represents a leaner, more efficient version of the classic winter jacket. Returning are the increased breathability, the more supple elasticity, and the improved aerodynamics; however, Assos also removed any unnecessary features and upgraded the protection on the sleeves and core with Assos' CORE Light softshell. The S11 EVO is lighter, more aero, and more race-tuned than ever.The proprietary AIRBLOCK-EVO.888 softshell returns as the main textile, blocking precipitation, road spray, and frigid wind while actively expelling internal moisture. An inner lining of BREATH provides support, using PushPull technology to actively move internal moisture from your body and through the exhaust of the breathable softshell. The innovative struzzoKragen collar construction also returns, reducing pressure across the throat and modulating internal temperature to expel excess heat as ride intensity, terrain, and temperatures fluctuate.

Featured Fabrics

The main textile, AIRBLOCK-EVO.888, is an updated version of the proprietary softshell featured on earlier R Winter Jackets. It's wind- and waterproof, but the textile's new membrane is also more breathable and more elastic. The sleeves and stomach feature CORE Light, which combines a four-way stretch warp-knit, a breathable, windproof membrane, and an ECO water-repellent treatment to shield against precipitation while expelling internal moisture. The underarms and back panel utilize the thermal RX textile, a breathable warp-knit that preserves a warm microclimate.

Assos' AEPD 11 racingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed with WorldTour feedback to envelope the body in 360-degree compression and stability. The twinDeck construction pairs a protective softshell with an ultrabreathable inner layer.

Engineering

BodySleeve AEPD: A supple, highly elastic construction that wraps the body's contours in a close fit, improving aerodynamics and push-pull moisture management.

ZeroSeam Pockets: A clean, seamless pocket construction that secures ride essentials and eliminates risk of road spray soaking through. A panel of STABILIZER V11 supports and stabilizes contents.

StruzzoKragen: A collar of lighter, soft insulation with a comfort fit. Actively modulates the personal microclimate without requiring unzipping and exposing the throat to cold air.
