SIDI is an Italian company founded in 1960 by Dino Signori. It specialises in protective wear for motorcycling and cycling and is one of the most well known brands of cycling shoes, used by many famous professional cyclists to win countless races.

When setting out to create the second generation of the Shot, Sidi didn’t just add a few new upgrades to the previous Shot. Instead, the Italian shoe company started from scratch. The Sidi Shot 2 is a completely new design that sets a new benchmark when it comes to performance and quality.

At the core of the Shot 2 is Sidi’s C-Boost SRS carbon sole. The completely new sole brings better power transfer, great comfort, and superb ventilation, all while offering a reduction in weight too.

In response to bike fitters’ wishes for greater cleat position adjustment, the drilling for the cleat on the Sidi Shot 2 now offers an additional 5mm of movement to the rear of the shoe. This means riders are sure to have greater control over their cleat position, ultimately ensuring greater comfort on the bike.

The Shot 2 has two of Sidi’s Tecno-3 push dials to enable a precise and secure fit. The combination of two dials allows micro-adjustments around the top of the foot as well as across the lower part of the shoe.

Located on the shoe’s tongue, the dials minimise potential drag while helping create the Shot 2’s unfussy, classic appearance.

The Shot 2’s upper uses a microfibre fabric which combines high durability, strength, and shape retention.

Technology

Tecno-3 Push Flex

The Tecno-3 Push Flex completely eliminates the pressure zone on the instep and significantly improves the feeling of closure. Equipped with a smaller support surface on the tongue of the shoe, with a central flexing system, it manages to accompany the different needs and conformations of various cyclists, without creating areas of hyper pressure. It guarantees micrometric adjustment, tension closing / release speed and is replaceable.

Reflex Adjustable Heel Retention Device

The Adjustable Heel Retention Device reinforces the top of the heel cup and improves the fit by closing the back of the shoe securely around the rider’s heel. The heel retention device tightens the top of the heel cup so that the heel doesn’t slide out during steep climbs or sprints.

Each side of the heel can be adjusted independently, for a perfect fit.

For a custom adjustment turn the screw towards the + sign to tighten the heel retention device and towards the – sign to open it.

Light weight, easy to use, and replaceable.

For additional security while pedaling, the new Adjustable Heel Retention Device is provided with reflex inserts for more visibility in dark conditions.

Sidi Intergrated Heel Cup

An all new design and light, reinforced to avoid deformation after prolonged efforts and pressures. Anatomically shaped, it stabilizes and supports the foot when pedalling. The reflective inserts on the heel provide greater safety to the athlete on the road, helping to signal the presence of the cyclist in conditions of poor visibility.

C-Boost SRS Sole

Provided with SRS (Sole Replacement System) inserts in Nylon and TPU, with the function of protecting the carbon in the areas most subject to deterioration from use and for increased durability while walking. The SRS inserts are integrated by ventilation holes that promote the circulation of air inside the sole with each pedal stroke.

Made of the latest generation carbon, thanks to the special conformation of the metatarsal area, it increases the transmission of power directly on the pedals, guaranteeing ideal power transfer and support. The new oval holes extend the adjustment the position of the cleat by ± 5 mm of a millimetre scale is included for remembering the riders personal cleat position.
