A race-tuned, lightly insulating cycling baselayer for high-intensity riding in cool conditions, engineered with increased protection on the shoulders and chest, balancing warmth and breathability.
Layer number one is your hardest working piece of kit, which is why Assos revisited Assos' Skin Layer platform for 2026 and returned with a few key updates dialed specifically for racing. The circular seamless construction is now better body-mapped, with thicker knit on the chest, shoulders, and sleeves and thinner knits on stomach and back. This targets insulation where it's most needed and breathability in areas not as affected by windchill. The incorporation of new Dryarn material increases breathability, moisture management, and odor control compared to Assos' standard Spring Fall Skin Layers.
