Hybrid Cycling Technology: Hybrid Cycling Technology is a system that combines electric power with human power to produce the most efficient, powerful and natural E-bike riding experience. It's a seamless extension of a rider's own power that sets Liv and Giant E-bikes apart from other "electric" bicycles. The system consists of four key innovative technologies that work in unison with your own body's power output-a seamless extension of your own capabilities.
Energy Pak: Breeze through any ride with a state-of-the-art Liv EnergyPak battery. Our innovations include EnergyPak Smart series, EnergyPak series, and the EnergyPak Plus spare battery to pack along. Safety and efficiency remain our priority to keep you riding safely for long adventures.
Sync Drive Sport: Innovation, manufacturing expertise and a motor system powered by Yamaha all combine to expand any rider's abilities. SyncDrive Sport offers three support modes and is equipped on E-bikes that are used for both everyday riding and for more demanding off-road riding. This small mid-drive motor delivers a massive maximum 70Nm of torque and is widely acclaimed for its performance and reliability.
Smart Assist: Liv's Smart Assist Technology is optimized to offer the best possible riding experience for every rider. It's used in our SyncDrive Pro, SyncDrive Sport, SyncDrive Core, and SyncDrive Move series motors. The Smart Assist is the pinnacle of smart support systems. By using information from multiple sensors, both rider input and terrain feedback are used to provide flawless, automatic support adjustment for the optimal amount of assistance. This ensures that the system provides ample power when you need it, while conserving power when you don't need as much. This results in an extremely smooth, powerful, and reliable riding experience. Translating six measurements about your riding, this adds the perfect amount of power at just the right time. Ride Control Dash: This compact 2-in-1 control unit has everything you need at your fingertips. Glance down at the color display to check all your riding data, such as battery status, speed, distance, time, and cadence. Pair it with the RideControl App and you can opt to get phone notifications. Keep your electronic devices charged using the convenient USB port. Need to get off and walk a little? We've got you. Simply tap Walk Assist and easily push your bike uphill or over rough terrain.
