Marin Muirwoods Bike

Marin County California is regarded as the birthplace of mountain biking. With niche communities back then shaping what it is today, and with Marin Bikes' inception coming shortly after, the company has deep roots in the sport and now offers many styles of bikes to suit off-roaders and commuters alike.
The Muirwoods is a big bad steel 29er hybrid, and its intended use is limited only by your imagination. An unconventional combination of wheel size, geometry and materials, but it definitely works. It's springy and flexy and the tyres aren't afraid of ripping gravel so you can get loose on your morning commute. Likewise it makes a great trekking bike with its ability to hold pannier racks and has vibration-dampening qualities over long distances (*cough* steel tubing). 27 speed drivetrain, and strong hydraulic brakes to keep everything under control. Dead fun to ride and also very practical.
