Castelli made this bibshort to incorporate as much technology as possible from Castelli's top-of-the-line pro-level race shorts at a more accessible price. And although it's certainly capable of weekend racing, the Competizione 2 Kit Bibshort is also a great comfort performance short even if you never pin on a number.
The majority of the Competizione 2 Kit Bibshort features Castelli's Vortex textured fabric. Castelli has used a wide, stretchy leg gripper with integrated silicone to ensure a comfortable, secure fit. The KISS Air2 seat pad has most of the comfort of Castelli's top seat pad but represents maximum value. The bibs feature mesh for breathability, while the straps are a lightweight elastic and are comfortable for hours in the saddle.
This is the short that brings the best of Castelli's know-how in building comfort performance shorts to an accessible product for your cycling wardrobe.
