The Ridgeback Voyage Open Frame has everything that makes the Voyage such a capable everyday bike - hydraulic disc brakes, dynamo lighting, Shimano CUES 10-Speed gearing and a child seat-compatible rack - built around a low step-through frame that makes getting on and off far easier, whatever you are wearing and wherever you are going.
An open frame makes sense for all kinds of riders: commuting in work clothes, getting back on the bike after an injury, or simply finding a traditional frame awkward to swing a leg over with a loaded backpack on. It is a small thing that quickly becomes a good reason to ride more often.
Underneath the frame shape the specification matches the Voyage. The Reynolds 520 chromoly steel frame gives the same smooth, comfortable ride over a full day of mixed town and leisure riding, the Shimano CUES 2x10-Speed drivetrain gives the same wide, well-spaced range of gears, and Shimano MT-200 hydraulic disc brakes give the same confident, low-effort stopping. Busch & Müller dynamo lighting, powered by a Shimano DH-3D32 hub, keeps it ready for dark winter commutes.
The AtranVelo Delta AVS+ rear rack carries up to 27kg and takes the Urban Iki range of child seats, making the Voyage Open Frame a natural choice for families who want one bike for the school run in the morning and a longer ride at the weekend. Puncture-resistant Vittoria Randonneur 700 x 40c tyres and full-length mudguards mean the ride goes well whatever the weather or the roads, and the frame and fork carry a lifetime warranty.
