Giant started out building Chromoly frames in 1972 and have since pioneered the construction of Aluminium and Composite frames and components. Many of their high-end bikes have won championships and design awards, and with over 12,000 Giant dealers around the world, their long standing reputation clearly precedes them.
This aero rocketship is built for speed when it matters most. It's lighter than the previous generation and engineered to slice through wind. The result? Race-winning efficiency that puts you ahead of the pack.
Features
Easier adjustability: All-new cable routing through the stem and head tube makes it quicker and easier to adjust or change cockpit components and fine-tune performance and riding position.
Race-winning efficiency: Advanced-grade composite frameset features high-performance materials and proprietary manufacturing processes. As a result, it's lighter than the previous generation for an even greater stiffness-to-weight ratio.
Technologies
- Advanced Composite Technology: Giant's High Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material in our own composite factory with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle of these framesets is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
- Aero System Shaping Technology: Through CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) and wind-tunnel data, engineers optimize each tube shape to deliver superior aerodynamic performance.
- Tubeless System: Fewer flat tires. Greater traction. Less rolling resistance and a smoother, faster ride. Giant's Tubeless System makes it easier than ever to experience all these benefits.
- Over Drive Aero: Found inside the head tube of the Defy, Propel and TCR ranges, the D-shaped fork steerer tube and corresponding spacers provide an extremely aerodynamic, easier to service system of internally routed brake and derailleur cables.
- Power Halo: Power training shouldn't be a mystery to be solved only by the pros with expensive equipment. Easy to set up, easy to use and easy to read, the all-new Power Halo is bringing metric-based training to all riders.
