The Acid 260's design echoes everything we've learnt from our adult mountain bike range, while carefully selected components ensure the best possible comfort and control for any adventure off the beaten path.

Keen young riders will benefit from a bike that fits their needs - literally. The Acid 260 is every inch a trail-capable mountain bike, scaled down to perfectly fit pint-sized riders. With 80mm of bump-swallowing travel, the Suntour suspension fork improves comfort and control. Shimano's smooth and reliable 24-speed transmission has the range to tackle any climb, and light and powerful V-brakes provide loads of stopping power. It's everything they need for trail adventures.

No half-measures, even for our junior bikes. That's why the Acid 260 uses the same mechanically formed, double-butted, heat-treated 6061 aluminium tubes as our adult range. Combined with our Agile Ride Geometry, it makes for a frame that'll allow your child's skills to develop as their confidence grows. And there's a replaceable gear hanger, too, so that a crash needn't be the end of the world.

There's aluminium, and then there's Cube Aluminium Lite. This heat-treated 6061 aluminium is stiff, fatigue-resistant and, because of its natural corrosion resistance, a great material from which to make lightweight tube sets - and bicycle frames. And it does all this without adding unnecessary weight, so you can get the best enjoyment out of your Cube.
