We've done it again: the Reaction Hybrid SLX redefines hybrid hardtail mountain bikes, all over again. Cube started with a big-capacity 750Wh battery and Bosch's smooth, fourth-generation, Smart System-equipped CX motor. Then we created a choice of frame styles and a wide range of sizes, so everyone can find their perfect fit. They added Fox's 34 AWL fork for comfort and powerful, four-piston Shimano hydraulic disc brakes for control. And finished off with Shimano's peerless XT 1 x 12 transmission, so the right gear is always at your fingertips. Put it all together, and it's everything you need for exploring above and beyond.

It's all in the detail. So neat is the Reaction Hybrid's frame design, you'll barely notice the high-capacity Bosch battery - now up to 750Wh, even for smaller frame sizes - and powerful fourth-generation, Smart System-equipped Bosch CX motor. But you'll definitely notice the power. Agile Ride Geometry delivers confidence-inspiring handling, as you'd expect. There's an Easy Entry frame option, and a new S frame with 27.5" wheels, so everyone can find their ideal Reaction Hybrid. And, with internally routed cables including a stealth dropper post upgrade option, we've reduced the need for maintenance so that you can just enjoy the ride.

A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.

Gravity Casting moulds liquid aluminium into highly complex frame sections, resulting in extremely strong structures that can better withstand stress. For example, with their Hybrid models we're able to produce a motor mount that's optimised to cope with the loads placed on it in this specialised application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.

The Fully Integrated Battery system tucks the power of Bosch's battery out of sight, safely inside the confines of your bike's downtube. Hidden beneath a splash and dust-proof cover and secured with a lock to prevent theft, it allows us to design beautiful e-bike frames that are as brilliantly functional as they are good to look at.

Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame - but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? Cube came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

Accessories like a kickstand, fenders and luggage carrier can really extend the versatility of your Cube bike. We designed mounting points that integrate so neatly with each frame, you'll barely notice they're there - but they also provide a simple, strong and secure attachment for any future upgrades.

In many ways the battery is the heart of an e-bike. That's why, with their Modular Battery System, we've made a setup that's easy to use. You can charge the battery on or off the bike, and we've made room for even high capacity batteries. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

The right bike should fit you perfectly. That's why they created Size Split. For shorter riders, the smaller 27.5" wheel standard allows us to build frames that fit well while remaining agile and sure-footed. And, for taller riders, they built a range of sizes around the fast-rolling 29er wheel standard.
