Can one versatile, lightweight and powerful E-Bike really do it all? We believe the Nulane Hybrid C:62 Race 4X can. Road bike swift, gravel bike tough, touring bike versatile and fitted with Bosch's smooth, light SX drive and a 4Wh battery. City streets, country roads or gravel tracks, it's ready.

It might be the elegant design and lightweight C:62 carbon frame that draws you in, but it'll be the Nulane Hybrid C:62 Race 4X's unmatchable functionality that'll win you over. The smooth, light Bosch SX motor and 4Wh battery delivers up to 55Nm of pedal assistance. Combined with the simple reliability of Shimano's 1x9 Cues gears and a strong, light Newmen Performance 25 gravel wheelset, it's everything you need to deliver you to your destination swiftly and in great shape. Powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and grippy Schwalbe tyres help keep you safe in all weathers. There's even a full set of luggage carrier and mudguard mounting points, for a quick and easy upgrade to full weekday commuter or weekend tourer. City slicker or country explorer, it's entirely up to you.

Borrowing heavily from our experience building light, fast and tough gravel bikes, the Nulane Hybrid C:62's carbon frame's organic curves and clean looks disguise serious intent. There's clearance for tyres up to 5mm, even with mudguards fitted. We added luggage carrier mounting points both for the rear and on the full carbon fork, so you can tackle the weekday commute or a longer tour easily. The Bosch drive system's control unit is incorporated into the top tube - with a mini handlebar remote - and you can add a 25 Wh PowerMore booster battery to the frame for extended range. And, on the technical side, the hidden seat clamp, direct mount chain guide, flat mount kickstand interface, Boost rear end and UDH compatibility make this a future-proof bike for all reasons.

Features

Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62 carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.

Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame - but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

Bosch SX technology incorporates a new, lighter and more configurable battery setup. To make the most of the weight saving, we've integrated the new battery fully into the down tube. This means we can position it optimally for the best weight distribution and handling, as well as saving more weight by building a down tube that's precisely the right size to fit, and without the need for an access hatch. And the Power More option means you can add an additional 25Wh battery quickly and simply, for extra range. It's the best of both worlds.

It's the little details that make the difference. With the option to easily fit full length mudguards, a luggage rack and kickstand you can make your bike that little bit more versatile and easier to live with. Wet roads, stuff to carry or nowhere to lean your bike up when you arrive? No problem - we've got it covered.

A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.

Adventure sometimes demands different kit. That's where our low rider rack mounts come in. Designed to accept an optional fork rack, they're a great way to carry up to 1kg of additional weight for extended tours. Not only that but carrying some of your luggage over the front wheel helps improve weight distribution and handling. Win, win.

For gravel epics - or races - into the back country and beyond, our Gravel Endurance Geometry is designed with you in mind. With a ride position optimised for long days in the saddle and frame angles and dimensions geared towards the perfect balance of agility and stability, it's all you need for off-road adventure.

One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.

With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62, C:68 and C:68X carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
