City traffic is enough to suck the life out of anyone, but the Editor Race is here to inject the fun back into urban riding. With its smooth, low maintenance Shimano 8-speed hub gears and ultra-tough Gates carbon belt drive, it'll whisk you to wherever you're going with a grin on your face. Light, fast-rolling and durable 7c Schwalbe Gravelland tyres and strong Shimano hydraulic disc brakes help keep you safe, regardless of road conditions. And sharp handling and understated good looks are the icing on the cake.

Drawing inspiration from our mountain bike hardtails, the Editor's frame uses double-butted aluminium tubes to create a structure that's strong, durable, light and lively. Neatly integrated luggage carrier and mudguard mounting points make it easy to customise, and the eccentric bottom bracket and split dropout accommodate the low-maintenance belt drive. The sleek rigid fork is the perfect accompaniment, offering crisp, precise steering to match its low weight and understated looks.

At Cube we believe even a functional bike should be attractive. The carrier and mudguard mounting points for our Nature series are designed specifically to provide a strong, secure anchor point for these useful accessories. But they're also unobtrusive and elegant, so your bike still looks great.

Cables for your gears and brakes are essential, but you don't necessarily want to see them all the time. Our semi internal cable routing takes gear and brake cables through the down tube for a cleaner appearance, smoother shifts and reduced maintenance. So your Cube bike looks good and continues to function as it should, and you just concentrate on enjoying the ride.

CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 661 aluminium, which has the qualities - high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength - that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
