The only thing better than the feeling of the open road is enjoying it on a bike that's built with both comfort and performance in mind. The Attain Pro's sleek frame, full carbon fork and carefully selected components let you concentrate on the thing that matters the most: enjoying the ride.

The jury's in, and the verdict is simple: disc brakes help you go faster. That's why, for the Attain Pro, we fitted reliable mechanical disc brakes and grippy Continental Grand Prix 3mm tyres - so you're always in complete control, no matter the weather. Combined with Shimano's slick-shifting 2x8 Claris gears, your speed is literally at your fingertips. A comfortable, lightweight carbon fork and a frame designed for both speed and comfort are the finishing touches. Where will it take you next weekend?

We built the Attain's 661 semi-aero aluminium chassis with both comfort and performance in mind. A teardrop profile down tube helps the frame slice through the air and integrated cable routing reduces clutter, while Smooth Welding gives tube joints a premium, almost organic appearance. The tapered steerer and thru axles front and rear ensure pinpoint precision accuracy and efficient power transfer. Slender seatstays and a full carbon fork help reduce road shock and vibration for significantly improved rider comfort, and there's room for tyres up to 32mm. And, with a neatly integrated seatpost clamp and mounting points under the top tube, we like to think we've thought of everything... so you can just ride.

Our Integrated Seatpost Clamp is all part of our quest to sweat the details, so that you can reap the rewards. Its minimalist design suits the frame's pared-back aesthetic. And, of course, that's important - because why wouldn't you want your bike to look great? But it also saves a few grammes too. And that matters just as much...

Smooth Welding isn't easy, but worthwhile things usually aren't. It has two advantages. First, and most obviously, it looks great: one tube seems to almost flow into the other. Second, and at least as importantly, it helps to minimise load peaks on welded areas for better frame strength and durability.

Cables for your gears and brakes are essential, but you don't necessarily want to see them all the time. Our semi internal cable routing takes gear and brake cables through the down tube for a cleaner appearance, smoother shifts and reduced maintenance. So your Cube bike looks good and continues to function as it should, and you just concentrate on enjoying the ride.

CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 661 aluminium, which has the qualities - high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength - that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.

How do you carry the essentials - a spare tube, perhaps, with tyre levers and a CO2 inflator - when you're out on a ride for fun or when you're training? With its neat mounting points tucked under the top tube, the Attain has got you covered.
