The GT Bib Shorts S11 are rider favourites for a reason. They're comfortable, they're breathable, and they last for several annual seasons of long-distance abuse. There is one calendar season where they don't excel, though: Winter. So Assos adapted everything that you love about them for indoor training, giving you the ultimate endurance bib shorts to see you through the cold months while spinning in-place on a training app. Though Assos are calling them "Indoor," these bibs also thrive in the hottest summer conditions - Assos recommend sunscreen under the ultralight leg panels, though.The construction combines the same textile on the standard GT S11, QUARTZ, with targeted panels of the open-structure POLSTAR, which Assos use on Assos' Tactica liner shorts. The pair of textiles balance years-long reliability and durability in high contact areas with impossibly lightweight breathability and cooling on the leg panels. The bib straps are also lighter, using a perforated mesh to maximize cooling airflow, and the GT S11 insert situates a breathable, cooling Sundeck section up front, where shock-absorbing support isn't needed but added airflow is more than welcome.

Featured Fabrics

The QUARTZ textile is a lightweight, breathable warp knit with permanent odorControl - the same used on Assos' standard, proven GT Bib Shorts S11. The true-black colour doesn't turn white or become transparent while stretching during normal use, and 80% of its content is from pre-consumer recycled polyamide. The legs are wrapped in POLSTAR, a bi-stretch, ultrabreathable cooling mesh with a hydrophobic treatment that pushes moisture to the surface and speeds evaporation.

Engineering

X-Frame: A suspension design originally engineered for the Racing Series. Limits sag on the lower back, stabilizing the insert and main body panels.

PILtec Plug-In: A lightweight, ultrabreathable textile band across the leg opening. The microdot silicone treatment is invisible from the outside but stabilizes fit and maintains grip in wet or dry conditions.

ZeroPressure Waist: A soft, highly elastic waist construction that improves comfort and hold at the waist, minus any pressure or pinching.

Mille GT S11: Shock-Absorb Damping Mono 12: Compressive foam layers in a 12mm endurance platform. Thermoformed shaping reduces ridges and irritation.

Mille GT S11: 3D Waffle: A patented, three-layer, perforated foam that increases breathability and eliminates excess weight.

Mille GT S11: goldenGate 2.0: A free-floating construction that moves with your body rather than against it. New cut-outs on the wings reduce friction throughout the pedal stroke.
