Age / Weight
The Shotgun Pro EVO has 2 configurations, with different weight limits and age recommendations.
Pro Hardnessed Seat:
- Suitable for children weighing 9 - 15kg (Recommended age 9 months - 2 years)
- Before using the harnessed seat Kids Ride Shotgun recommend your child can support the weight of their own head. For kids under 1 year please consult a pediatrician before use
Pro Seat:
- Suitable for children weighing 12 - 27kg (Recommended age 2 - 5 years)
- Before using the Pro seat Kids Ride Shotgun recommend your child can sit unaided, follow basic instructions and stay awake for the length of your intended bike ride
Bike Fitment / Installation
The Shotgun Pro EVO fits almost all modern regular and electric mountain bikes with a standard 1 1/8th steerer and 10mm of clearance under the stem.
Adapters for bikes with integrated cables that pass through the bike's headset spacers, or proprietary headsets like Trek Knock Block, are available separately.
Kids Ride Shotgun do not recommend the Pro EVO for bikes without front suspension, such as road bikes or beach cruisers, due to the lack of clearance between the child’s feet and the bike’s front wheel.
The Shotgun Pro handlebars fit 31.8 or 35mm handlebar diameters, and stems up to 60mm wide.
