Marin San Rafael DS1 700c 2019 Bike
Marin County California is regarded as the birthplace of mountain biking. With niche communities back then shaping what it is today, and with Marin Bikes' inception coming shortly after, the company has deep roots in the sport and now offers many styles of bikes to suit off-roaders and commuters alike.
The San Rafael is an off-road orientated hybrid with suspension fork and cable disc brakes along with a 7x3-speed drivetrain to tackle rough terrain, inclines and descents easily and confidently. The 700c tyres are grippy and nimble and the frame is very light and stiff for a controlled feel. A great low-maintenance commuter bike for use in the city - An even better commuter if you don't mind making a few dusty shortcuts.
The DS1 sits alongside the DS2, DS3 and DS4 in the San Rafael range and is the gents equivalent of the San Anselmo. It offers more economical components to improve the overall value.
