Cube Nuroad Hybrid C:62 SLX FE 400X 2025 Electric Bike

Nothing says freedom like a two-wheeled adventure, and few bikes are better equipped for adventure than the Nuroad Hybrid C:62 SLX FE. With mudguards and carrier included, the lightweight C:62 carbon frame, premium components and new lighter Bosch SX drive with 4Wh battery are all you need for exploring.

Pack up what you need and head off into unknown territory with the Nuroad Hybrid C:62 SLX FE. We fitted mudguards and a luggage carrier, so you're all set for any bikepacking adventure. The lightweight Bosch SX drive and 4Wh battery - with optional PowerMore 25Wh booster pack - are neatly incorporated into the svelte C:62 carbon frame. We chose Sram's GX Eagle Transmission with 12 gears for its huge range, durability and super-precise electronic shifting. Newmen Evolution SL X.R.25 wheels and Schwalbe G-One Bite 45mm tyres combine great grip, toughness and low weight. And Sram's powerful Rival AXS hydraulic disc brakes ensure you're always in full control.

There's more to making a really practical frame than bolting on mudguards and a carrier, although we've done that too. The Nuroad Hybrid C:62 FE's elegantly sculpted C:62 frame is full of neat touches, like the ability to run up to 5mm tyres even with the included mudguards. The full carbon fork has carrier mounts, we added a direct mount lightweight chain guide, there's a flat mount kickstand interface, and the rear end is equipped with Boost axle and UDH gear hanger. As for the Bosch drive system, it's PowerMore-ready for a +25Wh battery booster pack and the control unit is neatly incorporated inside the top tube, with a separate Mini Remote on the handlebar. We sweated the detail, so all you need to do is ride.

Features

Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62 carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.

Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame - but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

Bosch SX technology incorporates a new, lighter and more configurable battery setup. To make the most of the weight saving, we've integrated the new battery fully into the down tube. This means we can position it optimally for the best weight distribution and handling, as well as saving more weight by building a down tube that's precisely the right size to fit, and without the need for an access hatch. And the Power More option means you can add an additional 25Wh battery quickly and simply, for extra range. It's the best of both worlds.

A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.

Adventure sometimes demands different kit. That's where our low rider rack mounts come in. Designed to accept an optional fork rack, they're a great way to carry up to 1kg of additional weight for extended tours. Not only that but carrying some of your luggage over the front wheel helps improve weight distribution and handling. Win, win.

For gravel epics - or races - into the back country and beyond, our Gravel Endurance Geometry is designed with you in mind. With a ride position optimised for long days in the saddle and frame angles and dimensions geared towards the perfect balance of agility and stability, it's all you need for off-road adventure.

One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.

With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62, C:68 and C:68X carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
