There's a whole world of gravel to explore, and the Nuroad Hybrid C:62 Race is the bike to take you there - and back. Lightweight Bosch motor technology, cutting-edge carbon frame design and careful component selection mean you can keep going when the tarmac stops.

One look at the Nuroad Hybrid C:62 Race and you know that this is a special bike. But the elegant, organic curves of its C:62 carbon frame are just part of the story, because at the heart of this gravel-devouring machine is Bosch's new, lightweight SX motor - around 8g lighter than the Bosch CX and with 55Nm of torque - and 4Wh battery. And, if that doesn't give you the range you're looking for, it's PowerMore-ready for an extra 25Wh of juice. Shimano's GRX 1x12 gears with matching GRX hydraulic disc brakes put you firmly in control, whilst a pair of Newmen Performance X.R.25 wheels shod with grippy Schwalbe 45mm tyres keep the rubber side down and moving forward, wherever you're headed. Form meets function in the elegant shape of the Nuroad Hybrid C:62's carbon frame. Sure, it's a great looker, with a clean profile and organic curves. But we haven't forgotten practicality, like incorporating clearance for tyres up to 5mm even with mudguards fitted. Or carrier mounting points at the rear and on the full carbon fork, for maximum bikepacking versatility. The Bosch drive system's control unit is incorporated into the top tube, with a mini handlebar remote, and the frame is PowerMore-ready for a +25Wh battery booster pack. The seat clamp is hidden, there's a direct mount lightweight chain guide, a flat mount kickstand interface, Boost rear end and UDH derailleur hanger. We reckon we've ticked all the boxes. Features

Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62 carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.

Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame - but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

Bosch SX technology incorporates a new, lighter and more configurable battery setup. To make the most of the weight saving, we've integrated the new battery fully into the down tube. This means we can position it optimally for the best weight distribution and handling, as well as saving more weight by building a down tube that's precisely the right size to fit, and without the need for an access hatch. And the Power More option means you can add an additional 25Wh battery quickly and simply, for extra range. It's the best of both worlds.

It's the little details that make the difference. With the option to easily fit full length mudguards, a luggage rack and kickstand you can make your bike that little bit more versatile and easier to live with. Wet roads, stuff to carry or nowhere to lean your bike up when you arrive? No problem - we've got it covered.

A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.

Adventure sometimes demands different kit. That's where our low rider rack mounts come in. Designed to accept an optional fork rack, they're a great way to carry up to 1kg of additional weight for extended tours. Not only that but carrying some of your luggage over the front wheel helps improve weight distribution and handling. Win, win.

With a ride position optimised for long days in the saddle and frame angles and dimensions geared towards the perfect balance of agility and stability, it's all you need for off-road adventure.

One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.

With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62, C:68 and C:68X carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
