The Nuroad EX is what happens when you take cyclocross handling, add a little road-race pedigree and then throw in some mountain bike DNA for good measure. Agile, tough and versatile, it's everything you need for commuting, touring, exploring off the beaten track and more.

Less can sometimes be more, which is why, for the Nuroad EX, we chose Shimano's gravel-specific GRX 1x12 gears - for a wide range of ratios with minimal fuss. A Newmen Performance 25 gravel wheelset shod with light, tough and grippy Continental Terra Trail 45mm tyres - and Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes - keep you in full control, all of the time. There's a vibration-filtering, full carbon fork for ride-all-day comfort. And a full complement of rack mounts - both front and rear - makes it easy to equip your Nuroad EX for anything from the daily commute to weekend adventures.

To create the Nuroad we took inspiration from our race and cyclocross bikes, then threw a little mountain bike DNA into the mix. There's plenty of clearance for big, grippy and comfortable 45mm tyres - or 4mm if you run mudguards at the same time. There's an integrated seat clamp, exceptionally tidy rack, guard and kickstand mounts, and neat Internal Cable Routing to keep gear shifts grit- and mud-free for longer. Thru-axle wheels improve steering accuracy, even on the roughest roads. The full carbon fork isn't just lightweight - it also helps reduce vibration from the road and features lowrider rack mounts. And, with an extended size range running from XXS to XL, we're confident that pretty much any rider can find their perfect Nuroad.

Features

Adventure sometimes demands different kit. That's where our low rider rack mounts come in. Designed to accept an optional fork rack, they're a great way to carry up to 1kg of additional weight for extended tours. Not only that but carrying some of your luggage over the front wheel helps improve weight distribution and handling. Win, win.

A gravel bike is a supremely versatile beast, which is why all our gravel models have a fender and rack option. With generous frame clearances to fit comfortable, safe and grippy tyres even with full length mudguards, we also neatly integrated the rear rack into the mudguard design - and included a rear light, too.

Combining everything we know about building great-riding off-road bikes, Gravel Comfort Geometry is the secret ingredient that makes our gravel series such a blast to ride. Nimble enough to mix it up in the rough, stable enough for reassuring descents and with comfort for the long haul, we've got it all covered.

CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 661 aluminium, which has the qualities - high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength - that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
