Cube Nulane Hybrid C:62 SLX FE 400X 2025 Electric Bike

We didn't include the kitchen sink, but the Nulane Hybrid C:62 SLX FE does include pretty much everything else you might need: mudguards, carrier, lights and kickstand. With its svelte Cube C:62 carbon build and lightweight Bosch SX power, it's a bike you can count on in both town and country.

The beauty of the Nulane Hybrid C:62 SLX FE extends way beyond the organic curves of its sophisticated C:62 carbon frame. Because, with its included luggage carrier, mudguards, lighting set and kickstand, this is a bike that's as practical as it is great to look at. And, whether you use it for commuting or weekend touring - or both - that's something you'll appreciate. The lightweight Bosch SX drive unit and 4 Wh battery work with Sram's Apex XPLR AXS 1x12 gears to deliver you wherever you're going, with up to 55 Nm of pedal assistance on tap. And Newmen Performance 25 gravel wheels with 45mm Continental tyres and powerful Magura MT8 Pro hydraulic disc brakes ensure you arrive safely, whatever the weather. One bike, many reasons.

Borrowing heavily from our experience building light, fast and tough gravel bikes, the Nulane Hybrid C:62 FE's carbon frame's organic curves and clean looks disguise serious intent. There's clearance for tyres up to 5mm, even with the included mudguards. There's a sturdy rear luggage carrier - perfect for commuting or touring - and mounts on the fork to add an optional second carrier. We added a neat lighting set so you can see and be seen, and there's a kickstand too. The Bosch drive system's control unit is incorporated into the top tube - with a mini handlebar remote - and you can add a 25 Wh PowerMore booster battery to the frame for extended range. And, on the technical side, the hidden seat clamp, direct mount chain guide, Boost rear end and UDH compatibility make this a future-proof bike for all reasons.

Features

Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62 carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.

Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame - but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

Bosch SX technology incorporates a new, lighter and more configurable battery setup. To make the most of the weight saving, we've integrated the new battery fully into the down tube. This means we can position it optimally for the best weight distribution and handling, as well as saving more weight by building a down tube that's precisely the right size to fit, and without the need for an access hatch. And the Power More option means you can add an additional 25Wh battery quickly and simply, for extra range. It's the best of both worlds.

A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.

Adventure sometimes demands different kit. That's where our low rider rack mounts come in. Designed to accept an optional fork rack, they're a great way to carry up to 1kg of additional weight for extended tours. Not only that but carrying some of your luggage over the front wheel helps improve weight distribution and handling. Win, win.

For gravel epics - or races - into the back country and beyond, our Gravel Endurance Geometry is designed with you in mind. With a ride position optimised for long days in the saddle and frame angles and dimensions geared towards the perfect balance of agility and stability, it's all you need for off-road adventure.

One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.

With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62, C:68 and C:68X carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
